As random and as common as the daisies that grow each spring in fields and along the roadways across Niagara, there are thousands of personal stories depicting heroic struggles, amazing conquests and inspiring victories waged by people like you against the ravages of cancer, heart disease, kidney disease and mental illness.

We all know someone or of someone — mothers, fathers, sons, daughters, friends and neighbours, young and old — who has been touched by cancer, heart disease, kidney disease and mental illness.
